WHAT IS IELTS?

IELTS stands for International English Language Testing System.
It is one of the most widely accepted English proficiency tests worldwide and assesses your ability to use and understand English in academic and general situations.
IELTS TEST FORMAT
  • Has four sections: Listening, Reading, Writing, and Speaking
  • Each section is scored on a scale of 1-9, with 9 being the highest
  • The overall IELTS score is the average of the 4 section scores
  • Results are typically available 13 days after the test date

WHAT IS TOEFL iBT?

Stands for Test of English as a Foreign Language. It is one of the most recognized English proficiency test worldwide and measures your ability to use and understand English in an academic setting.

TOEFL TEST FORMAT
  • Has 4 sections: Listening, Reading, Writing, and Speaking
  • Each section is scored on a scale of 0-30, with 30 being the highest
  • The score ranges from 0 to 120 & typically available within 10 – 15 days after the test date
  • The exam is given 2 ways one is the TOOEFL home edition and the other is the TOEFL center based edition

WHAT IS PTE?

Stands for Pearson Test of English. It is a computer bases English language proficiency test and assesses your ability to use and understand English in academic and everyday settings.
PTE TEST FORMAT
  • Exam has 4 sections: Listening, Reading, Speaking & Writing.
  • Each section is scored on a scale of 10-90 with 90 being the highest.
  • Your total PTE score is the average of the 4 section scores, ranging from 10 to 90
  • Results are typically available within 5 business days after the test date
