Germany is a great place to work with many job opportunities and a high quality of life. The Opportunity Card (Chancenkarte) is a new immigration program designed for skilled workers who are non-EU citizens, allowing them to come and work in Germany.
It uses a points system to decide who can get the card. The card permits you to pursue gainful employment in Germany, allowing you to either seek a job or become self-employed. The goal is to bring more talented people to Germany to fill job openings.

REQUIREMENTS

Full equivalence of qualification (Diploma / Bachelor’s) obtained outside Germany. OR Vocational Training (ITI) recognized by the country, with at least two years of training.

Language skills either German (A1) or English (B2).

Blocked account with at least €1091 per month (from 2024) or a Declaration of Commitment.

A minimum score of six points in the points system.
